• Vertical roof design. The ridges on the roof panels run up and down preventing water and leaves from standing on the roof.
• Boxed eave design. Overhang on all 4 sides of the building. This keeps water from running down the sides of the building and onto the doors and windows. The boxed eave makes the building more attractive and gives you the option of choosing a different color panel for the roof (i.e., charcoal roof and a white building).
• Welded truss. Our trusses are mig welded. The mig weld makes a connection that is much stronger than our competitor’s that punch bend their steel tubing or make their connections with screws and brackets.
• Concrete slabs. We pour our slabs with 3,000 p.s.i. with fiber. All concrete slabs have a 12” x 12” footer that contains two #5 rebar that run the entire perimeter of the building. This footer and rebar provides a much better foundation than our competitor’s that just concrete their leg poles into the ground.
• Rectangular steel. Our rectangular steel is polyurethane coated and is stronger than square tubing. Our base rail runs the entire perimeter of the building and is anchored into the 12” x 12” footer every 5’ with ½” steel bolts. The pull out strength is 7,450 lbs. per bolt. The base rail gives us a steel member at the base of the foundation to attach the bottom panel to provide an air-tight connection.
• Building code. We meet or exceed all building codes and are approved in all North Florida counties including St. Johns, Duval, Clay and Nassau.
• Wind codes. Space Age Structures building designs meet or exceed all Florida wind codes (up to 150 m.p.h.)
• Choice of colors. Space Age Structures offers a variety of colors to choose from. Galvanized, painted screws with neoprene washers are used and the screws match the panel color.
• Custom sizes. We manufacture our frame to ensure quality and provide you with the size building that best fits your need and budget up to 40’ wide, 20’ tall and 100’ deep.
• Experienced installers. Licensed and insured. Absolutely the best crew in North Florida.
• Roof insulation. Roof insulation is ¾” foil backed insulation board. Our competitors use insulation in a plastic bag that is easily torn.

• Garage doors. The doors we use are premium doors that meet or exceed all wind codes. Pick from sectional or roll-up doors in your choice of colors. We also install garage door openers.
• Entrance doors. These doors are a steel 6 panel door. We have found they provide better protection against break-ins than vinyl doors.
